Henry Cordless Review

The Henry Cordless is a cordless cylinder vacuum cleaner which runs on a powerful 36V battery. In terms of run time, the Henry Cordless is capable of running for 30 minutes on its "Lo" setting and 20 minutes on its "Hi" setting. For extended use, there's the option of two 36V batteries. Changing battery can be done with a simple one-click swap. Each battery takes roughly 3.5 hours to charge.

Other than being cordless, the Henry Cordless is more or less a standard Henry vacuum cleaner. It utilises HepaFlo bags which have a large 9 litre capacity. These bags are extremely good at containing dust, therefore protecting against dust clouds. They are also easy to change. The filter is a powerful HEPA filter. These filters are excellent at trapping fine particles of dust, and also allergens such as pollen. The Henry Cordless is therefore suitable for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. We now look at the features in more detail:

• Suitability - Henry Cordless is suitable for hard floors, rugs, long/short carpets, upholstery and the inside of cars. It's much more versatile than a standard Henry due to its cordless design.
• Cordless - The Henry Cordless works using a powerful 36V battery. There's the choice of having one or two batteries. Two batteries have the advantage of twice the run time, with a short changeover midway through with a simple click-and-swap. One battery offers 30 minutes of run time on the low setting and 20 minutes on the high setting. The battery charge time is about 3.5 hours each. The motor runs at 250W.
• Accessories - There are a number of accessories. Firstly, there's a 2.2 metre long flexible suction hose that allows for extended reach inside of cars and around the house. There's a crevice tool for narrow gaps, e.g. underneath and between furniture. There's also a small upholstery brush which is excellent for coarse carpets. Finally, there's a soft brush for dusting.
• Large Capacity - As with most Henry vacuum cleaners, the Henry Cordless has a large capacity - 9 litres in total. This is primarily due to the large HepaFlo bags.
• HEPA Filter - The Henry Cordless uses an HEPA filter. These filters are common in modern vacuum cleaners due to their effectiveness at trapping tiny dust particles, as well as pollen and other allergens.
• Low Battery Indicator - There's a convenient indicator which alerts you if the battery is low on power.

Summary

In summary, the Henry Cordless is an excellent appliance. It's ideal for hard floors, as well as cleaning cars due to its cordless design. Despite its cordless nature, it offers strong suction and has a long run time. The accessory kit is wide ranging, with a crevice tool and various brushes.
