The Philips PowerCyclone 5 is a compact, bagless, cylinder vacuum cleaner available in a mix of black and blue. As you can tell from the name, it's the fifth generation model, improving greatly on the PowerCyclone 4. One of its key features is its allergen filter, removing more than 99.90% of fine dust, as well as pollen, pet hair and dust mites. It achieves this by efficiently separating dust and air with high acceleration.

To aide in cleaning carpets, the PowerCyclone 5 comes with a TriActive Nozzle. This nozzle is designed to gently open carpet pile to ensure a deeper clean. For higher performance, the nozzle has air holes at the front and sides to give a wider cleaning area and to allow for closer cleaning along furniture, walls and into corners. The vacuum has large wheels for added control, and comes with a number of accessories, which we go into later.
