The Shark IZ201UK Vacuum Cleaner is a cordless, upright appliance that transforms into a hand-held at the press of a button. It's suitable for a variety of purposes, including hard floors, carpets, beds, sofas, etc. One feature of particular interest is the "Flexology" technology which allows the mid-section to bend so as to facilitate the easy cleaning of underneath furniture.

The vacuum cleaner has two brush-rolls. One of them has hard bristles, and has the ability to deeply clean carpets, drawing out embedded dirt and pet hair at the same time. The second brush-roll is soft, and is specifically designed for removing larger pieces of debris such as crumbs. The floor head features "DuoClean" technology which, in essence, means that the vacuum cleaner can switch between hard floors and carpets without the floor head needing to be changed.
